My name is andrew hanson. i live in Florida with my beautiful wife, Jordan. I’ve shot over 30 weddings doing video and photo! After getting married, Jordan and i decided to join forces and start hanson Weddings!
now, Here’s a little backstory.
I grew up in Perham, MN. if I wasn’t in school, Most of my time was spent on the ball field, lake, or with friends. I played baseball, basketball, and football in high school.
Okay, so here’s where it gets good. When I was a freshman in college, I attended a campus ministry group called King’s. Long story short, I was prayed for and experienced the most powerful presence of Jesus I had ever know.
Well, that woke me up. I immediately started pursuing Jesus, and of course, fell radically in love with Him. Over the course of the next 6 years, my friends and I saw healings and miracles every single week.
Jesus gave me the passion for videography and photography. Looking back, He blessed me with so many open doors and opportunities to succeed — something I know I could never have done on my own.
Okay, now it gets really good. In February of 2023, I met my wife, Jordan. And like always, His plan was written all over it.
Here’s how it happened.
At the time, a buddy and I were creating professional social media reels for the ministry. We talked all about the bible, healings, or anything Jesus. Over 1,500 miles away, Jordan was praying to encounter a video about Jesus on social media. She wanted to show her friends that miraculous healing were still happening today. And thank you Jesus, she woke up the next morning to see me on her Instagram explore page.
Needless to say, I immediately fell in love with her. It’s insane when you literally get everything you could have ever prayed for in a spouse. Jesus never ceases to blow my mind.
Now, how does all of this fit? Well, Jordan and I started Hanson weddings because we wanted to pursue the passions and skills we believe Jesus gave us. We both love videography and photography, and even more than that, we love connecting with people.
Yes, we love what we do, but if He tells us to close up shop tomorrow, we will. Until then, here we are.
